Upgrade in progress...

2006/11/20 Well, it's been awhile since I wrote here at the main page. This is some sort of under construction announcement, as some regulars might have noticed that the MSHP section is undergoing some changes. The contents are still intact, but I had to upgrade the entire blogging system. Keeping the comments clean has become such a chore that I am spending all my time cleaning up posts and also the forums. I really don't fancy it when I spend more time on maintenance than posting new content :( Very sad. Anyway, hopefully the new installation will solve some of the problems. In the meantime I am thinking of starting another section focusing on my personal collections, reviews and other stuff I find interesting. My plan is to keep it seperate from the Shirow stuffs as it would include my other hobbies and interests. But it would involve a fair amount of Shirow related goods as they do make up the bulk of my collection. That way I figured it might save me some trouble too (cut-n-paste in mind) when I get around to updating the Masamune Shirow Hyper Depot (MSHD). I might as well elaborate that the very very overdue MSHD was meant to be the "regular" Shirow Website here at Takotech.net. MSHP for news and MSHD for goods database, product reviews and works summaries. Also, Project Motokoma as the galleries / media section. Many plans, little time and little action so far I'd say :P This is one of the few 1/24 scale WAVE Tachikoma I have in my collection. This one is in Black colour scheme, and requires some glue work still. But it's good enough for display at my PC desk. The other kits are still raw and unassembled, although I have another complete painted piece still in box. Until next update~

The Day The PC Died

2005/11/18 OK, house moving is terrifying enough, but when your computer breaks down in the process, its simply devastating :( Luckily though I think my hard disks survived. Waiting for the repair and getting a permanent connection at the new place is going to take me some more time. So I suppose Takotech (or MSHP) won't be getting the much-deserved update soon enough. Ah sucks, no happy news. But when my computer's back and I'm online again, it will be a frenzy- I promise! :D (Ok, that was too optimistic. I promise to try my best... :P) In Shirow related news, errrr... uhmmm... well, waiting for WAVE Tachikoma basically. Its still middle of the month. :) Oh, also I must thank Goha for drawing me some really cool fanarts! It will be revealed soon in the much-in-need-of-revamp Project Motokoma pages! Moving Notice

2005/11/07 Its just recently that the MSHP moved to its new home here at Takotech.net, and this time its the owner's turn to move. Physically that is. While I shift to a new house, I might not be online for awhile until my connection gets hooked up again. So I might not update for some time. On a related note, due to this also I have been busy packing up and arranging for this house-moving so new things will have to wait :( Oh well. Later then.

Tako Talk Ver1.0

2005/10/21 Well, finally after all these years, I've decided that its time I get my own domain and hosting for the MSHP. This is quite a big decision, and my plans are very ambitious (whether or not I can manage is another story ^_^;) As you can vaguely see here on this unfinished site, some of my ideas are already in progress. The new layout (for now) are: MSHP for Shirow News MS Hyper Depot (MSHD) the typical Shirow Info Pages Project Motokoma, an effort to collect and share Shirow Fan Works for everyone's enjoyment Shirow Fan Forum / BBS MSHP v1.0 Archive, the previous version of MSHP, retained for references. There might be new additions / changes from time to time, that I'm quite sure of, although with my lack of free time and other commitments now it might be more than what I could handle... TakoTech.Net will also host my personal pages, so while the majority of this site will be pre-dominantly Shirow Sensei related, I have plans to take up some personal space here as well- mainly to put up things related to my other hobbies and interests besides Shirow. But that is not the priority now. I will be spending most of my (already limited) free time on Shirow updates. So this site will continue to evolve, perpetually "Under Construction" in other words :) Until next time. Lucas, Just another Masamune Shirow Fan :)
