Book Summary: Released five years after the publishing of Intron Depot 1, this second Shirow art collection contains color works from the period 1992 to 1998. Titled Intron Depot 2: Blades, it only collects Shirow's fantasy-themed works during this period. The other color pieces, presumedly sci-fi themed will be collected in another book, sometime around 2001. The bulk of artwork in Blades are taken from various work comissions Shirow has done over the long 'silent' period between his manga works, with a few pieces done specifically for the book or taken from his sketchbooks. Predominantly CG (Computer Graphics) illustrations and each is elaborately explained by Shirow's comments as well as the 'Data Blocks'. A really impressive art collection, definitely worth the wait!
